As manager of our account operations staff, Kelly accesses the appropriate resources and procedures to take care of our clients’ business needs quickly and seamlessly. She is a proven leader and was promoted to management just two years after joining our revenue cycle management team. That same determination to achieve makes her a valuable advocate for our clients. She has a bachelor of science degree in health management from Northeastern University and has earned the credential of certified medical office manager (CMOM®).
Karen E. Clatterbuck
Credentialing Specialist
As credentialing specialist, Karen collaborates with medical providers and hospital administrative staff to guarantee accurate insurance accreditation for our clients. Her systematic tracking process and exceptional organizational skills ensure that all providers are credentialed in a timely manner. She also establishes and maintains provider information in the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH®), an online credentialing database. She holds a bachelor of science degree in management from National Louis University.
Debra C. Zelaya, CPC, CPMA
Director of Coding
Debbie is responsible for training and supervising our professional coding staff as well as leading our provider education program, which teaches proper documentation for optimized reimbursement. After earning her certified professional coder (CPC®) credential while at MDAssociates, she was promoted to director of coding in 2004. She has also attained the certified professional medical auditor (CPMA™) credential. As lead instructor of our provider education program, she is widely recognized as an industry expert and well appreciated by our clients. She is a founding member and has served as president of the local American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) chapter.
