Kelly Fontana, CMOM manages the day-to-day operations of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions, payment posting, and issue resolution. With 20 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management, she brings extensive expertise to our Revenue Cycle Enterprise. As a Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM), Kelly has a deep understanding of medical office administration, which helps MDAssociates maintain efficient, compliant operations. In her role, Kelly leads all client account operations, overseeing billing, claim submissions, and follow-ups to secure timely reimbursements and minimize denials. She is instrumental in implementing best practices, developing tailored workflows, and addressing unique client challenges to optimize outcomes. Debra Zelaya, CPC®, CPMA® leads the coding department to maintain accurate coding and optimize reimbursement for clients. Debra joined MDAssociates in February 1999, earned her Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) credential, and was promoted to Director of Coding in 2004. In 2024, she advanced to Vice President. Additionally, Debra holds the Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA®) credential. In her role, Debra manages coding processes, ensuring that all claims are coded accurately to meet regulatory requirements and maximize reimbursement. She is also the lead instructor for MDAssociates’ provider education program, where she trains providers on proper documentation practices. Debra continuously refines workflows and coding procedures to minimize errors and improve claim accuracy, which enhances client outcomes. Sacha Bernstein oversees all IT operations at MDAssociates, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software implementation.
